I asked ME who her five favorite movie characters were and why. Here are her answers:

1. Depp as the Pirate...hot!
2. Reeves as Neo...hot!
3. Peter Fonda in 5 easy pieces...hot!
4. Pierce Brosnan as Bond...way hot!
5. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman...I could do that

1 & 2. Richard Gere or Julia Roberts in Pretty Women -- I could go either way there.
3. The Lion in Chronicles of Narnia -- I don't know -- just thought he was cool
4. Christian Slater in "Bed of Roses" -- I just fell in love
5. Depp of course, love, love love the pirate

1. Depp as the pirate - way hot, especially the eyeliner
2. Rosalind Russell as Auntie Mame - do I have to explain?
3. Harvey Firestein as Arnold in "Torch Song Trilogy" - big hairy Jewish man in bunny slippers - it doesn't get much better than that
4. Reese Witherspoon as Elle in "Legally Blonde" - not as dumb as you think she is; I relate to that
5. Colin Farrell as anyone in anything, but especially as Bobby in "A Home at the End of the World" - I love this man; he could stand in front of the camera and read the phone book and I would be enthralled. Did I mention that I love him? ;)

Wow...5 is way too few. Instead of considering these my 'absolute favorites' I'll list 5 movie characters that I just really enjoy:

1. Kurt Russell as Jack Burton in Big Trouble in Little China. Such a perfect Kurt Russell cult classic with all the great quotes: "Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."

2. Walther Mathau as Albert Einstein in I.Q. He is just so incredibly sweet and fun as are his cronies.

3. Sticking with the same theme I'll count Robert Loggia, Carrol O'Conner, William Bronder and Eddie Jones as one playing the 4 card playing buddies in Return to Me. All 4 of those guys are great throughout the film. James Belushi is pretty damn funny in it as well.

4. Nicole Kidman as Satine in Moulin Rouge...what's not to like, she can sing, she's hot...nuff said.

5. Jewel Staite as Kaylee in the Firefly tv series and the movie Serenity. Fun, quirky, cute, fixes engines...every man's dream girl!
