Here's the answer to Wednesday's What Is It? I totally thought it was a bluejay, but after seeing these photos, I realized it was a mourning dove...which makes more sense, as I often see a pair in my yard, and I don't ever remember seeing a bluejay!

HA HA so it was a dove. Lucky me and I thought I was just guessing. Maybe I am a birdologist after all!

We pretty much just have grackles and a really annoying cardinal who keeps trying to get through our glass doors.
