Juried craft show

Remember I wrote about submitting five pictures to the 2nd Annual Juried Art Show and Sale to Benefit the Animal Rescue League of NH? They accepted these two:

Accepted work will be hung and up for sale until March 1, 2006...check it out if you're in the area!

A juried show is defined as: shows that require applicants to provide photographs or slides of their work and display. A group of people, referred to as the jury, decide which artists and crafters to allow into the show. The rules vary from show to show. Some let nearly all applicants in, only rejecting the retail items. Others have a high demand for spots and may receive 10 applications for each available spot. When you submit work to a juried show, you have to pay a "jury fee" (in this instance, $10.00 a photo) to have the jury panel review your work. This fee was nonrefundable, even if your work isn't accepted.

This is one of the pictures that wasn't accepted, but that someone might like to purchase:

I lowered the price for her, she's a good hearted person who works at an animal shelter! Hell, I should GIVE it to her!
