Doesn't she have beautiful eyes?!

Today I decided to see Walk The Line. I liked this movie alot and altho I don't much care for Joaquin Phoenix, he was fantastic as Johnny Cash. Sometimes it takes awhile for two people to admit to the love between them and that seemed to be how it was for Johnny Cash & June Carter, for a variety of reasons. I also loved the guy who played Jerry Lee Lewis, so cute! It was interesting, as well, to see the early days with Cash, Lewis & Elvis on tour together.

Afterwards I went to see The Pink Panther. Except for the Paris scenery, it was a horrible movie. Just ugh.

Took the dogs for a walk in Thanksgiving Forest...hadn't been there for awhile and it was a great day for hiking. I did run into a very sketchy guy, tho, and he made me a bit nervous...and I'm never like that.

Made cinnamon apple chicken sausage for dinner, with rice pilaf & brussels sprouts. Apple pie for dessert. Yum!

Love having Monday holidays :-)

I'm glad you liked Walk the Line... I'm afraid to see pink panther because I love love the original ones and I'm afraid that they will be as you say- terrible.

Sounds like a delicious dinner! Can I come next time!

Hey wait a minute, that's my Annie! Isn't she something else? I have always loved her eyes! She does think she is just above everyone else, a real princess. She is a pain to keep from getting mats in her fur too, but she is a part of our family and we love her.

WOW! What a gorgeous cat. Love her, does she need a home? ;-) Oh and hey, can I come eat dinner at your place, tonight maybe? Hmm... sounded delicious, you had my mouth watering.

My wife Mary saw Walk the Line and just loved it. There was alot of Johnny Cash music playing on the computer for weeks after that.

I just can't bring myself to see the Pink Panter. I have such fun childhood memories of the Peter Sellars versions and I just hate that they even tried to remake these. It was completely unnecessary.

I too had Monday off and it was wonderful to sleep in! Got the bathroom painted, watched Mirrormask, and worked on the blog. Hooray for a short work week!

Your kitty is gorgeous! I'd be scared to hike in the forest myself, and I never used to be like that. I hope your dogs look like killers, yes? If not, maybe they just SOUND like killers, like mine does (who would run and hide if actually APPROACHED by someone she was barking at) You should post the recipe for your dinner, it sounds delish.

You are going to CRACK UP at this: LilZ saw Pink Panther with his Dad this weekend and said it was "THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER" hehehe. I"m glad I read your opinion of it (although I learned a long time ago not to trust him. hehe)
