Elf on a shooting star

Slowly but surely I'm getting the tree (and house) decorated! Found this ornament a couple years ago (look familiar? It's an Annalee) at a little shop down the street. Hmmm...maybe I'll do a picture a day for the rest of the month. That'll motivate me to get things done!

Saturday:
- Went by the photo shop where I want to get the photos I'll be selling done; will go back during the week so I can talk with the owner; weekend help not too helpful
- Went to craft fair in Salem, NH...not too impressed
- visited new tattoo place, will be taking my business there from now on...VERY impressed
- baked cookies til midnight (want some?)

Sunday:
- Awoke to sirens; Santa & elves going by on fire truck...sheesh!
- Put on some music and started setting up the Christmas decorations
- Took the dogs for a quick walk, and shot some pictures in the back yard
- Decided to cheer Krista up by letting her take me back to the tattoo place to see the design that the guy had done (the design got my stamp of approval; the appointment is on the 11th)
- Early dinner/late lunch at Polcari's along with some sangria. Yum!
- Came home, put beef stew in the oven for Dad's dinner
- Partially decorated Mom's room at the nursing home with Christmas decorations

And how was your weekend?

I haven't told you yet, but I am so happy that you are going to start selling your pictures. I wish you all the best!

You certainly got a lot more done than I this weekend! LOL! My husband and I were lumps mostly, but I did spend $100 on wrapping paper, bows, tape, and boxes.

How DOES that happen anyway?

First, Annalee Dolls are here in Meredith, where the real Annalee grew up and lived almost her whole life.
I had the honor of meeting her before she passed away a few years ago. She was a wonderful, spry, chipper, Yankee, lady and I was so thrilled to spend time drinking tea and listening to her stories. God Bless you Annalee!!

Speaking of tatoos - I'm working on my NikkiZ design to add to my LilZ design...it will be the first new tatoo I've gotten in like FOUR YEARS.

Oddly enough that elf ornament reminds me of a similar ornament we had on our tree as a kid.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the new tattoo.

What a cute ornament. I can't wait to get our tree and put it up this weekend. A little itty bitty tree this year but still its the white twinkle light that make me nostalgic and wistful every time.

Scary busy weekend here. Too much as per usual.

I've never had a tattoo. How do you pick a good place? What are your criteria?
