If I could make one more request...please go wish my friend MaryEllen the happiest of birthdays! She's my only friend older than me, so I treasure her (for other reasons too!). It's been our tradition as of late to take a vacation together on or about her birthday...but this year I missed it and she went with her Mother instead. We've gone to Hawaii, we've gone cruising, we've gone to Disney (which I think was her favorite!), so I'm including some shots of her from our many vacations. Enjoy!

Today is my cousin's 48th birthday! She's the sister I never had...the GOOD cousin to my BAD cousin, the light to my darkness, the ... well, you get the picture! Speaking of pictures, that's her on the right, me on the left and my brother in the middle.

Today is Laura's [edited for content]th birthday! I've gotten to know her (and Deb) better over this past year and am glad to have done so! She's kind and caring and cute and cooks up a storm, so I hear! I'm looking forward to hanging out with her (and Deb!) down in Florida for a few days of R&R and tanning and shopping and oh...maybe ridingover and over and overthe Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

She was a bit older than us, and so got baby sitting duty often; she used to tell us the best horror stories...the blob that lived under the sand at the beach we frequented and how it was waiting for a chance to grab people is one that stands out. Now, she babysits her grandkids...wonder what kind of stories she tells them??!
